Model and Render for advertising piece

On behalf of 'Studio hook' in September this year, I did a couple of pieces fully digitized graphics (from the 3D model to render and some modified) of this announcement for some tents 'Solartech' by Bosco.
The top image is the reference which was to do the job, and as you can see has no resemblance to what finally made and part of the 'thank you' to work with a broker and not go directly to the customer. How many
not had the first part of the conversation with the client (in my case the intermediary 'Hook') are very light comments on what the customer asks, "nooo, if not complex ná pa ... they ask a very simple and look at the reference sent to us ... "
So far so good, but it happens that when you send the first draft order very similar to begin the endless corrections, and therefore, the time budgeted for is going to stick 'pans' ... "Is that now they want something similar to a few drops and sweat, but extremely realistic and is melting like the lyrics, then you have to tilt it and bla bla bla ..."
But that is not the most disturbing because everything can be achieved in the program and depend on the ability of performer if it takes more or less time to get to those requests. with my friend and graphic designer Barbara Contreras talked about the color of the letters, and it seems as oil, then you could have achieved a better effect to use a different range of colors, and even remove the word and put a birthday table below the sheet and make the effect of 'melt' where it belonged. Ie closer to recognizable icon and effects of non-application of this product.
Obviously these conversations were not built when I made the task of modeling and rendering and so I moved in the darkness waiting for the new client changes.
